If any patients are kind enough to want to make a donation to us, we have a charity account where the money is spent on items that will specifically benefit patients.
This is a registered charity and run by trustees from within the Partnership and community.

'Help for Hoima, Uganda'
Help Hoima is a charity (Regd Charity 1123088) that works to improve the quality of healthcare, education and agriculture in Hoima, Uganda. After their successful initial visit to Hoima in 2006, North Hampshire Hospital have committed to a formal link with the Hoima Regional Hospital. Subsequent trips have seen encouraging developments with equipment and supplies being sent over and training being given to the staff of the hospital and the Azur Clinic (see photo). The Azur Clinic has been built and is funded by Help Hoima and provides antenatal, delivery, immunisation , HIV counselling and family planning. An operating theatre successfully opened in May 2010.
Hook and Hartley Wintney Medical Partnership sends all it's medical equipment that it can no longer use to this charity via it's founders, Helen and Duncan Sherlock who live in Hartley Wintney. This Practice also encourages other local GP surgeries to do likewise.
